It has been quite some time since the author has written any updates, and even longer since providing regular additions to the website. A complete archive of everything inscribed and sent forth to subscribers since approximately 1998 to the present now resides on a new Archive Page available by clicking here. Note that the old Listbot service you originally subscribed to is no longer in service (it was free, but Microsoft recently cancelled it, forcing members to move to a paid service, which is $149/year), but all the archives were moved over, as well as everybody that was subscribed. (They are still available, untouched, at the archive section.
The primary purpose of this particular message is to reassure faithful and long-time readers that Daniel is still here, and will be, for an extended period of time.
Briefly, it consists of:
1. Reasons for author’s delayed absence from writing updates to website, and publication of imminent book: Final book of Daniel.
2. Poll on direction author should head concerning content of site and future newsletters.
Around Thanksgiving I shall analyze the effect of the September 11th terrorist attacks on economy, relation to future war (WWIII, as repeatedly expected on the site), and strategic relation of the Middle East. It has been too long, but I promise more regular updates; expect it in the next week or so.
First, my apologies to those who have come to expect frequent updates, such as was the case prior to 2001, only to see minimal content and analysis for much of the year. The reasons are somewhat numerous, so I shall briefly explain. I have been virtually nowhere near a computer for about 5-6 months (except for the Sept., 11 update).
One must first understand the predicament of the author. The intention when first launching the site back in March of 1998 was to offer intelligent, high-quality economic and strategic analysis, as a service free to the public. Initially it was an exciting time to do so, with the potential threat of Y2K looming, the economy in a massive bubble, as well as the opportunity to reach a wide audience on the new-found medium called the internet.
That excitement reached a crescendo immediately before the rollover into the new millennium. The site, at that point, was widely read and received a total of 150,000 hits. It was relatively respectable, aimed toward readers of a bearish/contrarian bias, and involved extensive economic insight. Of course, after the coming and going of Y2K, readership for such websites and authors thereof effectively fell off the cliff, with many personalities disappearing totally of the radar screen. This author’s site was no exception, with a dramatic decline in readership, to a relative trickle.
However, Y2K was only one, embryonic aspect of the site’s message; the main one being the imminent prospect of a massive recession/depression, and more extremely, the longer-range likelihood of World War Three. Of, course, this made it a “fringe” site in the eyes of the “mainstream” media. A doomsayer site. For such, the author and corresponding message was constantly attacked, and this was to be expected, and it naturally served as a practice run for what would follow after January 2000; after revealing the profound and historic spiritual and prophetic awakening of the author.
My condolences and understanding to those who were repellingly turned off by the extreme nature of the revelations I had been compelled to issue since that time, since many are simply not into “religious stuff,” particularly because there was no content on the site prior the 2000 consisting of a spiritual/religious nature. And, previously (if you’ve read the story), I too was not at all engrossed in such matters; I was an atheist; a materialistic agnostic. How things change. Sure, it could have been possible to keep my revealed identity secret in order to maintain respectability in the public eye, as it could have offered more opportunity for a professional writing career in the “mainstream,” as a spin-off.
However, I offer no apologies at all; it was necessary to change course, as the content of the site and the newly realized mission and identity of the author were not mutually exclusive; they are intimately intermingled. I am here to observe “the end” and the Second Coming, not to make a killing in the stock market, etc.
Therefore, from October, 1999 to the time of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, the author strictly and totally focused all attention to his divinely assigned duty as a Messenger, and embodied angel of God, that of the scripturally predicted return of the prophet Daniel at the “end of the days” where what was “secret and sealed until the time of the end,” (See: Daniel, 12) when many would be “running to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” When I say all attention, I mean ALL.
The final result was a book that, by early 2001, only a year after writing, reached nearly 500 pages. Everything written during this period, and until late 2001, was meticulously made certain to be divinely inspired, nothing more. Therefore, large periods of times often elapsed between issuing updates, analyses, and additions to and editing of the book. For instance, 90% of the book was essentially complete before spring of 2001, but one thing remained: The final editing of the rough copy for issuance to the publisher (1st books.com). Unfortunately, something happened: Divine inspiration from God to Daniel virtually stopped, therefore virtually no progress was made at all, for about 7 months, and even by November, 2001, the book was still incomplete, with only 20 more pages to edit! For your information, the author has spent around 10,000 hours total on the book and website, and earned virtually nothing at all for his efforts; it shall be a divine reward which far exceeds anything available in the mortal realm.
By late 2001, then, I realized insights required of me by God to write down – which occurred seemingly in an automatic fashion – had for now been completed. Despite being able and capable of writing the equivalent of a book every month, I simply could not write a single sentence for months on end! So, thereafter I deemed it beneficial to continue writing…even if not divinely inspired. It is part of the duty allotted to me.
Of course, some would expect EVERYTHING a prophet writes, at all times, to be directly from God, without error, etc. This is simply not the case, and is an unrealistic expectation. Yet I made extremely certain this was the situation between January 2000 to the fall of 2001, when the era of visions, insights and divine inspirations trickled to a halt, due to God’s will. This is not to imply “miraculous” events associated with 21st Century Daniel halted, or that he reverted back to life as a “regular mortal,” for they continue to occur on a regular basis, although to a lesser extent than was the case during 2000 and 1999; divine consciousness and related phenomenon seem to come and go in varying cycles of intensity lasting months. Yes, people still continuously say, “Oh my God, he’s an angel!!…in my presence, without telling them (and there have been countless other events to which you shall soon here of).Thereafter I deemed it wise to remove this horrendously restrictive barrier of “only” writing when inspired to do so.
The predicament of being half-mortal, half-angel, AND being a prophet, created an enormous challenge, particularly during the first several months of awakening (October, 1999); coming to grips with this identity, responsibilities, historic consequences, and mission to reveal the Word and revelations, and how it would be received and accepted by the public in general; especially in this “rational,” scientific Western society, which is very materialistic; where the majority are ignorant of advanced concepts of spirituality. Even among devout, mainstream religious faiths. In India or Tibet and much of the East, Daniel’s message would be highly revered and sought after; here, overall, the message and nature of insights are ridiculed, attacked or shunned, except by a relative minority of truly advanced seekers of Truth and Spirit. (You know who you are.)
If it had been my choice, none of you would know about this story or my personal life. If it were my choice, I would refuse to publish the book and write about the message and my personal life relating to it; I despise the public eye, and certainly do not go around telling people I’m Daniel and ‘a real, live embodied angel.’ (Note the sarcasm/cynicism? It’s used for humor. Angels love humor. Lol.) This is contrary to what some other religious leaders – or just humans in general -- may desire. Yet this is utterly required of me by a Force I am incapable of resisting; it is the pure and glorious will of God: To spread the Word. Yet I am also compelled to offer usable and quality information to secular readers who simply desire my analyses on worldly or economic events. This can often generate hazardous conflicts of interest, and limits severely what I can write to the public, since it creates substantial potential for reader criticism, particularly if economic and prophetic.

Timing of the release of the Final Book of Daniel
A semi-rough but official copy of the book will probably be available by January or February of 2002, if all goes to schedule. Consider it the first of future, re-edited books.
There is very little of the content to be edited, yet it is significant, due to the fact it is historic/divinely inspired. Be patient.

Should a man called David Akins (A renowned psychic in the Boise, Idaho region, who I’ve met in person ( Click here to see his web site ), who operates Mead Publishing, be the ‘chosen one’ who ultimately publishes Daniel’s book? (Yes, he subscribes to this newsletter, so he’s reading these words…and eventually he shall know; informed as to whether it is destiny: His ours, and God’s.)
